Since their site is down, I'm at a loss. :( I found the following for sale..

I HAVE A BRAND NEW, NEVER USED TOOL CART FROM SNAP-ON TOOLS. IT IS YELLOW WITH OPENING TOP AND ONE SLIDING LOCKABLE DOOR. IT IS ON 4 WHEELS, EASY ROLLING AND YOU CAN LOCK THE WHEELS. SORRY, NO PICTURE BUT I WILL BE HAPPY TO FORWARD YOU ONE. ASKING $75 FIRM

Anyone have a retail price, or any pictures by chance? Should I go for it?

That was my first thought, so I hit up their site looking for more info, but its down. I've tried good, as well as ebay, and nothing. :(

OK, email sent. He said he can meet me at his storage unit where its at, around noon. I told him that sounds good, and that I would call him around 11am just to confirm.

I picked up a tool cart just earlier this week:http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35003

...but that one has surely seen better days. I may just re-craigslist it, and then keep this one. :)

.....I just wish I could find a picture at least of what I'm going to probably go buy tomorrow.

Well I just searched the entire country on craigslist for "snap on cart." Most of their carts have multiple drawers, unlike the one I may go pic up. The closest thing I can find is one like this...

Thats the least number of drawers I can find with a snap on cart. The other thing I found is a cart like this, with no drawers...

He emailed me....

I have to be fair. You were the second guy to contact me and the third guy has offered me $100 for it. But I told him that one person is a head of you and the first person has not called me back yet. So he is out by not answering his phone. So it is up to you.

Is he asking for $100 now, or is he saying its my call if I want it for $75.

Well I emailed him backing saying I'm interested at 75, but 100 is out of my college student budget. No response. I called him, and no answer.

Oh well, I didn't exactly NEED the cart.

Unless it was a long ways away, I would've went and looked at it. It could've been a steal or totally misrepresented...but you never know until you see it.

I hate it when CL seller always change the price and start some kind of bidding war. They should sell for what their ad says.

I've bought quite a bit of stuff off Craigslist and I've never had that happen.

Before I drive out to look at something, I always print out the listing showing the item and what they're asking for it. That way if they try and act like they were asking more for it, I can show it to them. Never had to do that yet.
