I have been looking for a cheap tool cart for my small garage. I found a snap on KRSC33APJJ locally for 400.00

Condition is excellent. No dents or dings. Has a few scratches on the outside on the top. But that is all.

Is this a decent deal or should I pass.

While list price from Snap On is $945, I'd have a real hard time giving much more than $250 for it. Truthfully for ME, I just would buy the HF cart, period. I am not a green fanatic (to showy for my tastes), and I can get a cart many people have been happy with in a professional environment for significantly less money. You can buy a decent amount of tools for the $230 difference. Just saying...

Jew him down a lil closer to 300. Its a good cart that will hold its value at that price. The hf cart is an option but if it was me I'd rather pay a lil more and have a snap on.

I would get the Snap On cart if you had the money and that's what you wanted. I have the HF cart at home and did have one at work but upgraded to the krcs326. I would at least try $350.

I had that Snap On cart and loved it. Just sold it for $450 simply because I needed more room.

I'd say half of list is a fair starting point and work from there depending on condition.

Now if it's just for home use the HF cart would be a cheap alternative but if used everyday at work I would go with the snap on cart no questions asked.

The 400$ used one seems reasonable. Yes 200$ can be 200 but its probably not a deal breaker if its what he wants. What makes some of the other chests so appealing is the difference in thousands to the point a guy has to take out a loan to afford one.

Buying it to use it all wont mean a pinch of ****, with a blindfold over the name a guy wouldn't realize any difference and could likely sell either for what you paid for them. As big a fan as I am of the General this is a place a guy could score a nice shape top line item affordably.

In nice shape the previous owner took the depreciation / sales commission hit for you, under half price, maybe no or minor acquisition cost and no sales tax make it a fair deal.

I am envious of some here, I want a general 44 bottom. I don't need so many wide drawers and some smaller ones at standing height would be nice + mine is worn out from overload which I finally helped some by removing dead weight.

What did you end up buying?

I would love to find that cart locally. I would buy it right now. carts don't come up all that often and never that cheap.
