Hi,
For sale nearly 2 months now. Started at $650. Does anyone have one? What would you be willing to give? Leaky

No, it is missing a major selling point for that box (peg board inside lid). Model KRA-63. More like $150 if that. It has had a hard life.

It's worth every bit of $250 if it were cleaned up. Tough to tell if thats just dirt and grime or if it's also overspray. If the lid opens and closes and the drawers all slide well, I'd probably give around $200 for it.

That isn't grime, those are welds. The chassis is tweaked. Hence my comment of it has had a very hard life. Probably bouncing around in a service van.

I'd be selling at 150 and know that it could take up to 2 months to get that price...650 is nuts

Might be worth it but $200 or $150 is more like it. looks pretty good but needs some cleaning up.

Saw one like that which had been pried open. The corners were pulled back in and welded, but as mentioned the sides weren't straight any more.

Can't give an estimate from one photo. If it hadn't been pried open, if the sides were straight, a couple of professional welds which tightened up broken spot welds wouldn't deter me from buying it.

Bottom line - it's a hell-for-stout top box and if one is going to put it into service as a working professional road box, it's going to get beat up anyway.

The KRA62C Snap-on Heavy Duty Road Chests are what - $2200 now?

People need to stop comparing the KRA62 to the older boxes. It is a completely different box, class, size, build quality and thus value. The box KRA63 is not a road box, just a somewhat modern top box that happened to find its way into many service trucks/vans. They were more common in the euro and asian market.

The chassis on that box is seriously tweaked. It has been welded in the upper corners and there is a bulge from where the front support columns have buckled. And that is just from a not so great picture. I bet in person it will have even more battle scars to show.
