Picked this up for $5 today. Wrenches, marked 1955. Not bad, anyone know much about these pouches?

Is it just really dirty standard vinyl or is that leather? Hate that style wrench but for $5 I would have probably bought them too.

Those are the ratchet wrenches you keep in the truck or tool bag. It's actually 8 tools in one little pouch that you never have to worry about losing or breaking. Matter of fact, I was in a pinch once and had to use a 13/16" x 7/8" ratchet wrench of that design/era with a hammer and it didn't break. I wasn't wailing on it like a mad man, but hard enough to pursuade the nut loose. Mind you it wouldn't budge with me yanking and hanging on it. I'd say that's a "you ****" buy.

looks good. Is that 6 pt something that comes with the kit or was it a replacement for a lost one?

I think its a replacement for a lost one, not sure because the numbers of the tools line up in order. I think its no 74, then 75 then 78 and 9. However the date stamps for the 3 12 pts are 1955 and one 54 and the other is 1982. So?
