Thinking about ordering a new 1022 tool box, i seen a epiq box in like a gun metal grey color, is that available in the master series? Also kinda interested in the titanium color trim. Anybody got any pics of unique combinations? Thanks

Not sure if they offer it for that box, but I think the white box with blue or red metalic trim looks really sharp.

The toolbox truck salesman told me I could custom order anything. They have a lot more colors available than the catalog shows.

Yea I found a toolbox configurator but doesn't do any justice compared to an actual box in natural light , can't even tell difference from arctic silver to white on web configurator

Here's one. I think it's a KRA series. One of the younger guys at the shop bought it. It's real cool in person.

Good to know. I really like the midnight blue, but according to both the web and the printed catalog, I can get a KRSC or Epiq in that color, but not a KRL.

I wonder if the purple I see on one or two of the top or side boxes (but no bottom boxes) is more generally available....

Here's a 1022 the guy next to me at the shop just bought. I cropped him out of the pic. The hutch on it has a Superman "S" on it. It's a cool color combo.

Talk to your rep about seeing the rock and roll truck.. They have all the color options on there .. As said before you can get any color you want just need to ask but be prepared to wait up to two months for the damn thing

Awesome box, but the 3 non matching drawer edges would drive me crazy.

Yeah, he was waiting on the final three pieces. They came scratched so had to be re-ordered.

I think the arctic silver would look good with the blue or red trim, like the matco boxes on extreme 4x4. I have owned 4 red snap ons, 2 cranberry ,1 yellow, and an epiq in a special blue color. I did really grow to like cranberry after owning one. I also think black with stainless top and stainless drawer trim would look classy. Cant decide if I want to go darker color or lighter.

I got my Snap On box in red, very boring, but I won't struggle to find a matching top in the future, and I won't have to worry about trying to sell it and have the color be an issue.

I remember seeing on here I believe, was a snap on box at the last dealer show that was black with green anodized trim. It looked sharp. I haven't seen where snap on offer that color trim, asked my dealer, and he did see box, said they were selling it to dealers with tools, they couldn't buy just box. Anybody else see it, or know where pics were? Thanks

Exactly how I feel. I like some of the wild combos but they will be harder to sell...find the colored marching parts/accessories for in the future if need be for repair/warranty. Also with the wild colors you tend to get sick of the color a year or two down the road. Keep in mind flat colors are hard to keep clean unless they do some type of flat clear on them? I don't know their coating processes are.

I would like to do something different, but not sure. Probably stay safe and go with cranberry with silver trim, stainless top, and brushed drawer guards.

The Superman box is anodized. The white one is not.

Okay thanks, good to know they make to different red trims, yes Sims5 that is the one I remember, I think that green anodized looks sharp on the black.

I love the red anodized look, on snap ons configurator it just says bright red on the trim, afraid it wont be right. My dealer is really interested in any of these details and isn't much help.

My dealer had them on his truck in the past, however on the truck in that lighting I wasn't impressed, but other pics I have seen I like.

I also don't understand the titanium trim, dealer put that trim on a white classic 96 and it looks brown. I thought it was a silver/charcoal color?

see if the rock and roll truck will be in the area, that truck usually has 4x4 paint samples that you can play with out in the sunlight, the red trim on my box changes from dark red to bright red depending on the light

Ha Ha, rock and roll was here few months ago, spoke to my dealer about it, and he didn't think there were any potential toolbox buyers in my town so he didn't even bring him around. My dealer is not very easy to deal with, doesn't care or participate about any sales, promotion, etc

Only thing with ordering special colours is you are locked in to getting any future add ons new from the factory.
You aints gonna find a white with titanium trim end locker used, but you'll probably find a standard red one with a bit of patience.
My vote is for the white though, they look amazing.
