Snap on toolbox questions Krl 1022, Krl 1201

I have a chance to buy a used snap on tool box and full size side locker.

The roller box, Krl 1022 has the coil spring casters. I noticed the newer boxes have a different style caster.

What year did they go to the newer caster? Is one better than the other?
I notice there is a grease fitting on the caster axle, is there another fitting on the swivel?

Can the drawers between the top and bottom boxes, Krl 1022, krl1201 be interchanged?

Not sure on dates but if you can get a picture of the rear production sticker date of production should be on it.

Hello there. I have boxes with both types of casters. My best guess is around 2012 that they went to the chrome spoked "ISO Ride" casters. I would not be overally concerned about which one the box has, they both roll great. Unless you are just going for looks.
And yes, the drawers are all interchangeable with the same depth boxes.
