Hi.
I have restored / and repaired loads of roll cabs and top boxes over the years, and recently I did all mine , they look like new now, anyway,
Runners, snap on , mac tools and draper charge a fortune for these, and I have always used (always) replacement ball bearing runners which you can get very cheaply from several places, even if your box drawers are friction slide, you will have space for bearing.
Either an office furniture supply depot, I use the ones for Filling cabinets, as these actually are stronger than the snap on ones, there the same size, plus they glide nicely, plus they fit, just need to bolt or rivet them in place,
or a kitchen depot, store,
You can get runners in all shapes and sizes, at a fraction of the cost,
the first time you replace one is a bit tricky, but once you have done one, then you become a master at it, and want to change them all.
Afew years ago I had to change the runners on my Mac roll cab, the cab was over 30 years old and used daily, the original runners were worn out, drawers no longer open, so I repaced them with filling cabinet ones, and 3 years later used daily they are still smooth, great, a nice talking point as Mac wanted over $350.00 to supllly the 30 slides and i paid $40.oo for the filling cabinet ones ,
