I belive that the vise is included, but I did not ask.
the drawers all move nicly, the casters roll and turn well

all the metal on the box looks good, bit the finish has some scratches and/or wear from use.
it looks like the date on the back is 1981

I have been looking for this exact box. I haven't found a comparable box with those features from any new manufacturers. Where are you located? I'm in Delaware.

$650 seems pretty high given the very well used condition. I know it's an old box and one can't expect too much, but you are in the price range of a near-new S-O top of the line tool cart here. Since you can't exactly use this cart up against the wall due to the need to access three sides...it is meant to be out on the floor. It kind of serves the purpose of a modern tool cart. To me, for this money, I'd rather have a modern cart.

I think $650 is fair for that. Maybe it isn't a modern tool cart, but it isn't a really an old tool cart either. It is a mobile work station. The closet thing I can think of new and similar to that would be one of the Beta SuperTank mobile work stations, and they go for a couple grand new.

It's much more toolbox than the modern carts. These things are ******** big! I bought a KR 537 middle and top box that were sitting on one of these and the rollaway made them seem small. Later on I was thinking I should've bought the rollaway too but I didn't have a way to get it home.

It's about 50" wide, 26" deep, and 38" high.

well guys I have become the current owner for the pricy sum of $375

overall its in decent shape. it needs some clean up and it has some holes drilled into for things that had been attached.
one of the slides is cracked so I will work on fixing that. I would love to upgrade to BBslides but I am not sure what that is going to take to do
I noticed that the wheels of the casters can be removed, anyone know where I can get just the 'tire' for those

Nice deal! Not sure where to get all those parts, just do a google search and I am sure you will find it!

I want to say there is a thread somewhere on here about upgrading to BB slides I read parts of, sounded pretty simple and straight forward.

I was trying to help someone move (sell) the box as well as find out or verify what it was worth or find out if they were asking too much or the right price for it.
they really needed it gone and needed the money and nobody else was biting.
I ended up telling him what it was worth to me ($350) and he came down to $500 and then $400 and then we 'split' it at $375.

the box has a few problems but overall is a good box. I used to want one back in the day when I had my shop but was not willing to pay the $2855 that it cost at the time.
wether I needed it or wanted it is not completly clear. I want (need) something else to mount my small lathe to and to serve as my 'machine box' and on the other hand I used to want one of these (but not sure I need one) and so I now find myself with one.

I would like it better and it would fill the need better if the drawers were ball bearing due to the weight of the drills, reams, and other tooling for the mill and lathe. now can I make this work thr the purpose, we will find out
