I ran the exchange rate conversion and there's an almost $1800 US price difference. Now how does one go about getting that deal here in the US?

Canadian Dollars > American Dollars

No it isn't, the Canadian dollar is worth about 95.31 US cents. I means if I give you one canadian Dollar, you have to give me 95.31 cents US. If I want one american dollar from you I would have to give you about $1.06 Canadian.

I used to troll pawn shops in Floriduh when I lived down there a few years ago, and two different shops told me they keep all the Snap-on tools off the floor and build sets out of them, then put them on ebay. BOTH shops, about 40 miles apart, told me that they always sold them to people in northern states at full-list price, and both of them told me it was because Snap-on had a cheaper price structure in the South; full-list in the South was cheaper than full-list up north, so the buyers were still getting a deal.

The fact that they're selling boxes cheaper in Canada would seem to support that.
