Never seen one of those before. Is there anything engraved on that brass plaque on the lower left? I imagine that was for the tool truck owner's name.

Nothing engraved there and a business card doesn’t fit. Wonder if it was a plaque for like you said drivers name and route#, account?
With all the Snappy aficionados out there somebody’s seen one. SnapMom?

Thanks SnapArx !
Boy Snappy doesn’t mess about 12lbs of the heaviest gauge steel for a box smaller than a shoebox for an electronics tool kit. The brass plaque holder put on by the former owner is curious however not surprising, it certainly deserves to be named.

That basic logo went into the early/mid '80s at least, and I believe the chrome handle indicates it's a later version of that box.

Should be a date on the back. Cool boxes.

B17 - Any specific area on the back? I went over it with a flashlight didn’t see anything. Tried to get the drawer out, 8-447 sliders with my hacksaw blade tool but no can do.

OleTule- Did u mean the plaque were original to the box?
Thenkyou so much.

Elvis is in the building! Just got a 2nd KRA 149 A this time a 1978. This gentleman had it for sale for $15.00! I couldn’t do him dirty, told him of it’s collectibility in some rabid (GJ) vintage tool circles. He immediately said I’ll get back to you. Well he came back with “Well I clearly underpriced that” and you didn’t have to tell me so I’ll let you offer a fair price first Before listing it on ebay. I offered he accepted. The 1978 is the one without the card holder, the other is the KRA 149 1974.
