Hello All,

I'm trying to estimate the value of a vintage Snap-on Tools Gold/Diamond Ring. The ring appears to be from the late 1960's and was owned by a Snap-on Tools salesman.

The ring has the following features and design:

18.7 ounces
10 k Gold
Snap-on is in the middle surrounded by 5 - three point diamonds.
A wrench and pillars is on the sides with a blackish background.

Anyone have any thoughts and or advice as to what the value may be or how I may locate a appraiser with knowledge of Snap-on jewelry???

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Please post a pic of the ring.. There are people on this board that can accurately value the ring or point you in the right direction.

You need to start with it's base value as a Diamond ring, and an appraisal by a qualified Diamond/gold appraiser is the place to start. Any additional value as a "collectible" would be on top of that, and would be very subject to what someone is willing to pay over the base value.
