Any one have and Snap On's with the "V" in the model number? I have a 1/2" drive 20" extension model # SVX20, with the old logo, anyone know anything about these?

Yeah military just like my SV-71A that I can't get repaired was my grandpas go to ratchet now it's a paper weight

You could always pick up a working s71a and swap the guts. The internals in the regular and military issued rats aren't different from what I've seen.

I have a 1/4 set in the red metal case that is off the USS Sperry. I had a 3/8 extension that had the "V", it broke and they wouldn't replace, that's when I found out about warranty.

Not all "V" tools are military, example, the XV wrenches from like the 60s, the ones with the v grove, same with the v cut nut wrenches. Could be others, just can't remember right now, but most V models are military.
