we bought and paid $ 150 for a set of snap on tools from a seller on this site.
asked a number of times for a shipping receipt or prove of shipping and never got an answer.only statement was " us postal service must have lost it."
sellers e-mail [email protected]
and also goes under [email protected]
i live in australia but had the tools shipped to a friend of mine in kansas.
pretty sad that this kind of stuff goes on.

If the the sellers user name is indeed sherry, he has only been a member on here since 7-2-2020 and has no posts and last visited the site on 7-2-2020. So it looks to me like you didn't see the obvious red flags. Did you pay with friends and family option or gift option?

The romantic hills of central Umbria, Italy,
I get that they didn't have a long history here but then again, neither do you...

I've been "taken" from people here... it *****, but they lost a potential customer by selling me a broken tool as good... 99% of folk on the classifieds are upstanding folk. I have a few I've bought from over and over again, because they're dead honest and I trust them. There's one I'll never deal with again, still have the piece of trash he sold me on top of my toolbox to remind me... and it was more than $150...

First couple times I ALWAYS do the business hing and pay the fees, because I don't know them from Adam. They work out, fine, they scam and scum out, fine. Once we've done business a few times, we're all good.

Thing is, if it was from here, they have a user name and I would think they'd do the right thing, but then again we have, what 30K-40K members active here... so I'm trying to figure out where you're going with this.
