Local to me box cheap at 200 bucks


I was thinking about buying it for my basement. What model is this. Looked for the old giant thread with different snap on box id's with separate url but ..

Snap-on KR-537. Nice boxes, very well built, slider drawer but can be made to slide nicely with rubbing on paraffin wax As lubricant on cleaned slides and drawer mating bits.

Good deal , have one also and as tool scrounge said a very well built box.
the model and year of manufacture should be stamped on the back if your curious about the age.

Nice find! A coworker at my last job had 1. I liked the mix of drawer sizes. Years later I found the Rick Mears version listed on Craigslist. The price was right so I grabbed it. I couldn’t find the matching lower box so mine sits on a SO taco cart.

I have that top and the matching bottom. I love them, in a manly way... They are my 2nd set. My 1st set was newer, around 1980 or so. They had chrome strips on the drawer handles.
