Snap-On top box identification

I have a 1982 KR555A bottom box. I am looking for a decent top box. I found this box about an hour away. It looks like a "Showcase" box to me that is missing the front lid. Or, is this a different model that came without a lid from the factory?

Thanks in advance for your help. I am new to the forums and need to still introduce myself. I have been lurking the forums for the past year for tool advice.

looks like a "showcase" kr 537 33" wide
your kr 555 is 36" wide


if the drop front is missing,
and it's cheap enough go for it.

lots of guys like the drawer layout in the kr537/637.

i never liked it for work boxes



and i have 2 sets of them in the garage.

Alright I guess I will hold out for a box that matches my kr 555 better. I know a kr 550 top box will fit, but what other top boxes will fit so I can start hunting for one?

i think the "newer model" of the kr 550 maybe the 650?
the newer one should have full BB slides.

i believe MBC made boxs that wide.

single tops or bottoms are kinda rare.
i've had a kr550/555b since '86
