Snap-On Torque wrech question

Can anyone tell me why this part number has a E at the end? Also have QC2FR75 with a * at the end. Curious if anyone knows the reasoning behind this?

That is the revision number for the part. For example, the first version was QD2FR75, while the first revision was QD2FR75A.
