Snap On Torque Wrench New ?

hello i just bought today the qd3r250 1/2 torque wrench but i see on the back of the plug it dose not have the black with red snap on letters CAP it's just plain black is this normal or am i missing the plug, i know it won't effect the tool it's cause I'm a snap on collector with a bad case of O.C.D

Mine fell off after a year or so. I think i still have it somewhere in the junk drawer.
