Snap-on Torque Wrench

A lightly used Snap-on TQFRM14 3/8 drive torque wrench. I'm the original owner. Never dropped. List is about $250, asking $125 SHIPPED.

I suspect it's 15 years old. Snap-on is still selling them. 0-100 lb. ft. and 2-14 kg m. It's a click type, with a ratcheting flex head, and you don't have to set it to zero for storage. I had all my torque wrenches calibrated about 3 years ago.

it's made by Precision Instruments, it's a new type of construction called "split beam". it's far more reliable than the micrometer type torq wrenches because there's no spring inside to be messed with. you don't need to turn the dail back to lowest settings after each use which is a big problem for the other type torq wrenches because people always forget to do so. normally it's not required to get re-calibrated if the tool is not well used(abused).

i have the newer model but wish i had the older one because the head is reversible. mine is one way ratchet, tightening only.
