Snap on Torque Wrenches

Need some advice, my son is in the Ford asset program and this is his last semester, which means his last chance to get his student discount from Snap On. Things are tight financially, thats why your advice is needed, its like having a machine gun with 5 shots in the magazine!. every shot must count. He needs a 1/2 torque wrench and the choices in the student program are :
1) BRUTUS3R250D Click-type, U.S., Fixed-Ratchet, 50-250 ft. lb., 1/2" drive
2) QD3R250 Click-type, U.S., Fixed-Ratchet, 50-250 ft. lb., 1/2" drive
3) QD3250 Click-type, U.S., Fixed-Ratchet, 50-250 ft. lb., 1/2" drive
Which one would you get your son ?

QD3R250 is the one I would choose. The Brutus model is geared towards tire shops.

I have the QD3R250 and I really like it. Really easy to use, no problems. GL

QD3R250 is one of my favorites. Just remember to crank it back to 50 ft-lbs after using it and it will last for years.

I've always zeroed it out. Why 50? lowest setting obviously... nevermind! lol
