Hey guys I ended up with a Snap On TQFR 250c that seems to be broken. When testing it it has resistance like it should but after moving it wa ways there is a pop sound. And the indicator never changes. So I am assuming it needs repaired. Is this something I can do and then send it in to be calibrated? I would I just be off to send it to Snap-On or Team Torque ? http://www.teamtorque.com/service_repair.html Also any idea what kind of cost repairing something like this runs?

The indicator on that one is used to set what torque you are wanting. I'd have the calibration checked and go from there. Most Snap-on trucks have a tool on the truck to check the calibration. Other wise check it against one of your other wenches. At least I'd check it before sending it off. It sounds to me like its working.
