I found one at the flea market; a retired mechanic was selling off his tools and some snapon "trinkets". One one of the key chain and also a snapon baged finger nail scraper.

I have a couple of those old keychain things
they were giveaways from the SO dealer back in the early 90s

In case anyone was wondering they're apparently being made/never went away.

Seen one and decided to see what they were going for on eBay and Snap On has them on their licensed promotional gear page. It doesn't look right being from an unknown 3rd party but the Snap On official page links to it.

Only issue is shipping is $25+ for one so better buy the family and the shop all one too. Could probably get one off the truck for the $15 straight but I don't have truck service so I'm stuck with looking for cheap brands of 1/4 universals at yard sales for 50¢ and a Dremel/drill for now.

Come on Snap-On your shipping costs are a joke.
I checked the prices for UPS ground(I think it was actually $31, surepost was $25)just to be sure they weren't just only offering some expensive options and it's $14 assuming it's a basic shoebox for that big hunk of steel if I shipped it to myself from their warehouse.

I believe I have had $31 UPS ground before but that was for [BELOW]. $10+free shipping auction on eBay from California to Indianapolis in a baseball bat style box with all the peanuts I could eat. I got quite lucky with only one half interested competitor.

Official licensed 3rd party because Snap On doesn't deal with that type of stuff and tool truck dealers need swag and freebies.
That where the pocket flat head and phillips come from a long with shirts, hoodies and stuff.
I have some hoodies from Wild Marketing from those links they are GTG. Same with Staples licensed Snap On stuff.

It just caught me off guard because I found WM storefront before I found it through SO affiliate link so first impression was kinda like seeing the official licensed tag on Alibaba for Snap On. Going through affiliate made it clear but the name doesn't help still.

They do a lot of official licensed merch and personalized stuff with the licensed brands on them. I think I bought the hoodies from them 8 years a go. I also remember buying a 3/8 cordless impact kit off the truck and asked for a pink glitter womens hat for free to give the wifey.

I picked up 10 of those at the garage sale a couple of years ago for a buck a piece!

Good find. You can pick up another 10 for $15/piece from WM or $35/piece on eBay today.

I don't think I'd have any luck finding any in my area but the old Craftsman and other brands 1/4 universals shouldn't be difficult to find and the bonus would be organization by mfg. I'm not too obsessed on brand so the 50¢ plus time with a Dremel/drill is probably a better deal overall.
