I have an older made in Canada UT22 that I keep my tig welding supplies in and I'd like to find another just like it. I've seen several threads about these boxes but I can't find who the original maker in Canada was. Does anyone know if these boxes can still be had from a Canadian manufacturer? I see the newest version from SO, the UT22K, is made in the P.R.O.C.

I've never seen one on our local used market.

Those would have been made in the now-closed Newmarket, Ontario plant. You're outta luck unless you find a used one...

Alright, thanks for that. Back to square one.

I like this particular style of carry box. Of all the others in the market, are there any made in North America or Europe?

I might settle for one of their boxes if further searching doesn't turn up a product from a country I support. The Excel website is good in noting that their service centers are in the US and production of their toolboxes is near Shanghai, China. None of the other sellers on the inter webs, excepting Snap On, list where their cantilever boxes are produced.
