Hello everyone, I have been looking around the site for a few months now and finally joined! Anyways, i was cleaning the basement out this morning and found a pair of pliers, i looked on the net for the date code chart but nothing matches the symbol i have on these pliers:headscrat. I was pretty exicited to find a pair of snap on pliers. LOL. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how old these are.
Thanks

I also bought a pair of knipex dykes on friday after reading on here about how well made they are. They seem great so far.

As far as i can tell the date code symbol is at the end of " Made in USA". The closet symbol i could find is 1956's but it is reverse of what I have

Hi,

Welcome aboard the GJ, Hey I love those Vacuum grip pliers why don't you send them to me for closer inspection,it might take me a few years of close inspection!!!
All kidding aside if you ask chad s or snapmom they can tell you more about the date of when those pliers were made.

take very good care of them, then the next generation will appreciate them.

Best of luck.

Woody.
