I am looking for set of S.O. Vacuum Grip #87 side cutters. I know #87 was available as just 87, as 87A, and as 87B, but that is where my knowledge of it ends. I am searching for a nice, tight set that is in as close to perfect condition as possible.

I don't collect Vacuum Grip pliers in general, and do not know how much a perfect set of 87's is worth. I have many items to trade, but I also have cash. Prices are yours to set.

Bob, I need a set that's functionally (and preferably aesthetically) perfect. So far as I know, they are no longer made. The price is yours to set. Please let me know.

It was VERY difficult to get decent pictures, but these are Snapon 87 cutters, the handles are the same as my vacuum grips and came from the same set, but vacuum grip is not printed on them. They are likely as nice as you will find although the pictures are not that great. They have 1 VERY tiny nick in the blade all the way back by the joint, however you CANNOT see light through any part of the blade when closed, other than that they are tight and pretty close to new for their age.

I have this pair of snappy side cutter's-listed as 387-not with the vacuum grip name or handles-also have past owner's engraving-otherwise a nice tight set with the brown goo on them is just a cosmoline rust preventative-let me know only if you have interest...........Cranky:thumbup:

Some time has passed. Still no sign of these, though it appears a number of you are in the process of streamlining your tool systems. I would appreciate any leads on a perfect set of Vacuum Grip 87's.
