Snap On Vantage MT2400: Keep it or sell it?

I have a Snap On Vantage MR2400 someone gave me. It's like new, barely used. It has the case, the manual and warranty card, the unit that was never stored with batteries in place so everything is exceptionally clean and it has the black, blue and red probes. It powers on fine. It still has the screen protection film. So it's the basic set, it doesn't have extra modules or probes.

Is it still worth it to have a graphing DVOM in today's work environment? Am I going to be doing ******** diagnostics like backprobing PCMs and checking waveforms off sensors and such?

Keep it or sell it?

I guess the question is if I have an OTC 3505 is there anything that the MT3500 can do that the OTC unit can't? The OTC can do some more fancy functions like frequency and data hold. But it can't graph and it isn't modular.

Also, bump.

It has limited uses today, the buffer is too small and the sampling rate very low by todays standards. That said I still use it rarely for simple checks when the Verus is *******.
I've seen them sell for $500 on ebay at times and wondered if the bidders actually knew what they were bidding on.......................

I would be happy to get $300 for it.

Then again, it's nice not to have to use that awful Verus GUI or have your shop be basically held ransom by Snap On's DLC business model. There's something to be said for a simple computer that runs on D-cell batteries and doesn't get malware or cease working if someone pulls the wrong wire at Comcast.

I'm the ex-IT guy who doesn't have a smartphone or any social media. Skeptical of the latest and greatest.

I've bid on many of these on eBay. Still don't have one but at $300 I wouldn't have yours either. A Benjamin is my limit for old stuff like that. I want it for just what you mention. Sensors and the way they react. I have older stuff(2003 back to 1987 ) and I feel it could be helpful to diagnose weird stuff. Just not at $300.
