Snap-on L-73 1" Ratchet - Head is about 3" wide by 8" Long and Wieghs 6 pounds.

Your no 6 "thing " is to adjust valves on early yblock Fords.
You use a socket to loosen the lock nut and push down and turn the knob to adjust the set screw. May work on other engines with the same set up.
