Snap on vs Bahco

Incase anyone is interested... The snap on set costs AU$172 and the bahco set AU$49.
Obviously the US price will be different but its probably a 3:1 price ratio.

Identical other than colour...

I came across the Bahco version of the MG725 airgun too, it was less than half the Snap on price.

Yeah, same with the portugal files. Some of the pliers are cheaper... but i got one thats made in china.

Snap On is priced rather higher outside the US, the Bahco stuff is also available through normal retail channels so there is proper competition on pricing. Hence the big difference, I also believe Snap On is completely uninterested in pushing the Bahco brand in the US

Those pliers are the economy model. The high quality plier and other stuff it's the ERGO line made in Spain, France and Argentina

I agree completely. Bacho gear is available through local hardware chains down here and is priced as such.

90% of my extensive tool collection is Bahco.
No complaint on it doing the job as well as I require.
I own nothing Snap on.
