Snap On vs. Cornwell (OTC & Launch) scan tools

Maybe old news but I just came across this video. I found very professional in how Cornwell refers to Snap On, which unlike Snap On who throws every other competitor under the bus and backs up over repeatily.

Look at the new OTC scan tools,say OTC Bosch on them.SPX no longer owns OTC,Bosch bought out OTC from them.It includes Robinair and their other brands SPX owned Bosch bought out.There is stuff the aftermarket scan tools can't get into,GM security systems are one.Went through this with a 2006 Chevy Cobalt using the Modis,tried reading the codes and could not.The Factory scan tool,Tech 2 was the only scan tool that read the codes.I see OTC going under now,anything Bosch buys out gets screwed up.Buy any Bosch diagnostic equipment,it is yours with zero tech support.Can't keep reps either too,both reps in the Michigan area quit last month.

Yes very professional, but Verus only has 1 S in it.lol and the Modis is a turd, cant stand it.

Have a Modis at work,no problems with it yet.The big thing with the Modis is shut it off right and remove the battery when not in use.The battery lasts longer this way.

Very common for OTC to release a new scanner and discontinue support for their scanner models which are only a few years old.

Unlike the snappy redbrick mt2500 which was made/supported from around 1992 through 2008(last year for software update)

Have a Modis at work,no problems with it yet.The big thing with the Modis is shut it off right and remove the battery when not in use.The battery lasts longer this way.

My only real complaint about the Modis is it is just so slow. Atleast the 1 at the shop I work it is.
