Hi all! I am thinking of becoming an aerospace technician, and I figured I would need some quality tools. If money wasn't an object at all, (I have a trust fund and only work for enjoyment) would you buy Snap-on or Pittsburg tools? I've been leaning towards Pittsburg because of the superb fit and finish, but alot of people seem to like a brand called Snap-on. What kind of a name is that anyway? Well at any rate, which is a higher quality tool? Thanks in advance!

Apparently sarcastic humor is lost on some of you guys, considering the first post is dripping with it.

Either one is fine. It's a known fact that both are made in the same factory anyway.

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion....

In modern English usage, the verb troll is a fishing technique of slowly dragging a lure or baited hook from a moving boat...

I say Pittsburg. You will be supporting the city of Pittsburg. Pittsburg has high quality chrome that won't flake (unlike Snap On) which is very important in the aerospace industry to prevent FOD.

Jeez, if you lot were fish there's be no need to make elaborate lures to catch you.
Just throw the line in with an unbaited hook and then reel in fast.

just make sure you use the treble hooks with lead at the bottom....
and reel in using a rip motion!!

Just as long as you get the new Pittsburgh Professional series, you're all right to wrench on your rockets!

Just look for the logo!

Is that the Yamamoto, the one with the huge guns, I think the main guns had barrels that were something like eighteen inches?

That is the Yamato battleship. The biggest in the world with the largest naval gun (18 inch) in the world.

Is that the ship that was destroyed on it's maiden voyage and never even fired a shot at allied naval forces??

Nope, Yamato was commissioned in december of 41 and was sank in April 45. In that time she was in battle of Leyte Gulf, Battle of Phillipine sea, Battle of Samar, numerous smaller ops (as transport ship, refueling etc) and was sunk in operation Ten-Go.

During the US invasion of Japan, it went on a suicide mission to meet the huge US fleet. It only carry enough fuel for a one way mission.

That is correct. It put up a valiant fight against US air power up to it's end, but it's sinking met the end to the battleship forever as the fleet's front line weapon. Flat top's have reigned supreme ever since.
