Over here....
I have a Snap On red handle dead blow brass double head hammer with cracking plastic handled and body. Anyone know if Snap On will warranty that? We have no Snap On dealer here.

They will. No problem at all. Just call Snap On cust service. Tell them you don't have a dealer and ask for help on it. They'll take care of you.

It says you will never know unless you simply call or email Snap On, they are good to deal with, just give them a call. Ignore the Nay Sayers who claim you need a receipt. I've never been asked for proof of purchase, then again I'm not trying to warrant a 5 gallon bucket of tools every other week.

I had tracked a local dealer down and he warrantied a screwdriver that I had gotten years earlier and wasn't completely broken. I had never even met the dealer before that. I'd say their warranty is pretty good.

I warrantied a Blue Point tape made (actually a Chinese made for them U.S. Tape unit), and not only got a new tape measure, but a $25 gift card for telling them that the dealer didn't know the policy on them. They let me keep the other one that they wouldn't warranty and they gave me another one this time on that. I gave one to my coworker (who had the original problem) and I kept one for myself.

I hope you have better luck with your hammer warranty than I have had with my rusting tool box. They have been passing the buck to every cubicle in the company for 30 days now.

What he said. Snap-On has built a solid reputation for quality and warranty service.
