Snap-on wrench questions

I picked up a couple of old Snap-on combination wrenches recently and am looking on any info that you all might have on them.

#1 Snap-on OEX-46 1 7/16" combination wrench

By the looks of the date stamp does that mean it's a 1956?


#2 Snap-on GOEX-48 1 1/2" combination wrench pat 3273430

I under stand the g stands for industrial finish.
Is there anyway of dating the wrench? I don't see anything on it that matches the snap on date codes I could find.

Your OEX-46 has a 1956 date code.

Not all Snappy wrenches (or for that matter other tools) have a date code
