Called Snap On looking for the selector for this screwdriver, fully prepared to buy it. Explained to ******* the phone that I couldn't find it on line and could she help me. She laughed and said she tried to find it also a few days ago and couldn't find it either, so she's sending me a brand new screwdriver. This has been my experience every time I've called them, and my answer to my few friends that don't get why I buy Snap On...now to find a kid just starting out that I can give the old one to till he can afford to buy a new one

I have what I am guessing would be the same driver, there was a short and a long version, I have the long one, mine was just recently warranted from the tool truck, no issues finding a replacement and I had it the next week.

Came in the original box and no cost to exchange.

This is the standard lentgh hard handled ratcheting screwdriver, there is no problem replacing the entire screwdriver, my point was all I needed was the actual directional selector. Which i guess isnt available separately. I wasnt looking to warranty the screwdriver since it still functions fine. I was attempting to buy the piece i needed and was a little surprised when they warranted the entire screwdriver for something that is only a cosmetic issue

I had the same thing happen to me with a dark green one and the driver swapped out for a pearl white one

I do believe the end caps are the only parts sold seperatly

I've bought the selector caps. I'll see if I can find the part numbers.

Hopefully this will save Jeff the trouble in finding them. He previously provided these in a post (which I have gratefully used).
