might be a good idea, maybe not I will see the dealer on friday and ask if he has a set.

I believe they are for tight clearance places where you need an extension, but as you loosen a bolt it pushes the ratchet up against something and you can't get it out. i've been in this situation before, and I came up with something that worked, but these would have came in handy. I saw a video, let me see if I can find it.

I followed those variable length extensions on ebay for a while. I was surprised to see that they went for pretty cheap, at least when I was looking. I guess they haven't been that popular. Keep an eye on ebay.
