Because every single effing time I step foot on the truck, I end up with something I wasn't planning on buying. :bounce:

Went to pick up my simple Blue Point code reader that I ordered...This thing:

And ended up buying this damn ratcheting screwdriver:

I've been wanting one anyway I guess.

On a side note, my Snap On guy kicks ****, he always gets what I order and never flakes.

yeah....tool trucks can be dangerous. Went on mine last Friday to get a long shaft for my soft ratcheting screwdriver and walked off with that, a T27 torx hard handled screwdriver that i was missing from my set (he had it on the wall all by itself - odd) and one of these

also ordered a couple of things for the next time I see him.

oh...and those hard handled ratcheting screwdrivers are great....have a few of them myself!

He must be slipping, didn't upsell the Microscan??

I made the mistake of looking at a dual80 ratchet, I was strong, I didn't buy one, said that I like the bent handle flex ratchets as I edged off the truck, he said, "No problem, I'll have one on the truck for you to see next week" ...must be strong...

the trick to SO truck is to carry a picture of your wife in the old wallet. that will either scare you off the truck or you'll feel too guilty to buy anything. :bounce:

It was 57 with tax, I think the website price is around 55 bucks. So it must have been on sale, because my area has insane sales tax. It's a nice screwdriver, but I must say that it doesn't feel any 'smoother' than my Gearwrench...Although I do like the handle design a bit better because it is smaller. I have been wanting one, so it works out in the end...

Nope. I tell him what I want, and he gets it. No sales spiel, nada. I'm a DIY guy, I don't need anything crazy for the most part...

Yep, in many ways I am extremely glad I do not see any Tool trucks. If I did I am sure I would have a lot less cash, and a lot more "junk" in my workshop.
