It's about time they decided to put out a set of robertsons - and the fact that they're hard handles is a bonus!
And damn that orange Epiq box is nice!! Someday.........someday.

That's about it. I've been waiting to get a good Robertson #2 as I wear out the kleins fairly quickly.

Electricians and Canadians, new kleins are dissapointing, I mostly use them at work and they seem to be wearing fast. Anyways I may have to try the snappy version.

I used to think matco had the better looking boxes, but these shiny snap-ons are changing my mind!

:p robertson exists in the us; its not as prevalent as in canada but i find them frequently
i like them much better than phillips btw. The design allows much less camout

Phillips are designed to cam-out, so as not to be overtightened during rapid assembly line work.

The only reason Robertson isn't the standard worldwide is because of his disagreements with Henry Ford. ;) The one place that Canada has been ahead for decades, screw head design. :p

Same battery design?

The new CT7850 has a different battery design than anything else they are making (stupid to change to me...) but it puts out 100 ft-lbs more than the CT6850 series.

The cordless ratchet is a Blue Point model that I think is sourced from overseas.

Silverado, wished we had been able to meet up at the show. Ate lunch with Chadster and had a great time talking with him.

If Snap-on can sell a black hard handle screw driver in the roberston set then why can't they offer their screwdriver range with the black hard handle?

Whats it going to take for snap-on to re-release the black handle?

That really pisses me off another new battery design? That mean another charger. BOOOOOO

there is a blue point cordless ratchet, but i did not see the specs yet. looks like the at700 series or something similar, justwith a battery attached to it.

That's a little disappointing I was kind of hoping it would be based on the 7.2v batteries or something similar
