Snap ring plier recommendations needed

I need some good snap ring/retaining ring pliers, but just for very occasional weekend type use - lighter duty automotive and garden tractor stuff. So, I don't really want to spend a ton, but want something of good quality that will actually work and last. My current super el cheepo ones just aren't cutting it. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

There is at least one thread out there on this topic.

The Craftsman are OK. If it was a lot of use thing I'd buy the Snap-On. I'm not crazy about the Knipex

I presume this is the same as what we call circlip pliers. I've a few stahlwille ones and they are great.

What do you not like about the Knipex ones? I was thinking about getting a set and haven't heard anything bad about them before.

I picked up the channel lock set. Have been very happy the few times I have used it.

I had the Princess Auto set prior to that, and well I was less then impressed.

I have a set of bluepoint convertable with the interchangeable tips. Same as craftsman pro and a few others. Cost about 30 and they work great! Plus a whole set of replacement tips are $3 at sears and I haven't had one break yet but some did go missing without my assistance

Best I have used so far is Knipex (the chrome finish older type) although my Wurth (which I'm told is sourced and re-labeled from Knipex) is also good. Never had much luck with universal types with interchangable tips.
