snap together laminate in a garage?

I have a second floor built using bar joists and 3/4 t&g plytanium flooring. I thought I could get away with paint for the floor, but it is not very durable. I was looking for options and found that people sell used snap-together laminate for a song. a lot of times less than $.10PSF. So I was thinking if I screw down another layer of 3/8 plywood to tie the t&g together more solidly, would laminate hold up in a garage? This would be used for a woodshop so there would be machines on wheels mostly static. I think it is pretty dry out there, but the humidity can get as high as 75% sometimes inside. I plan to run A/C at 80F so it runs enough to dehumidify. any thoughts?

I don't see why it wouldn't hold up to regular wear and tear. But keep in mind, dragging machinery and metal across the floor will more than likely leave marring. As long as you're OK with that, go for it.
