I will send the link on the next post. Apologies for the number of posts but I had to reach 5 before I was allowed to post a link.

Hi Kevin. No reason to think it’s not genuine. I haven’t actually seen that much fake Snap On. If you know your tools it’s usually obvious it’s dodgy, and I’d be surprised if anybody fakes special editions.

A lot of new / genuine Snap On stuff turns up on eBay. Most times someone does a deal, maybe buys 20 of something, screws the price right down, then sells on at a small profit. Sonetimes it’s the dealers themselves. No warranty claims, and cash now, not payments.

If it’s new and sealed in the pack you can’t go far wrong if the price is o.k. Bear in mind you have no guarantee though. List price on the 3/8 ratchet alone is £105, so that’s a fair deal, but deals do come up quite often.

Also bear in mind the U.K. price of a KoKen 3/8 ratchet is £35. Even a Hazet, regarded as a bit exotic in the U.S. is less than half the price of the Snap On, so everything is relative!

Looks fine to me. I’ve seen that set in the truck.

If you do buy it I’m sure you’ll love it. Fantastic set.
