Hey all, I have a Snapon FAR72A air ratchet that I would like to repair. I bought it used knowing it didn't work just to see if I could get it running. After taking it apart it seems like it is missing a few pieces in the head judging by the diagrams I was able to find online. Anyone have a source for parts for these things? I was able to find diagrams for similar snap on ratchets but nothing for that part number. Thanks.

Snap on will rebuild it for 120 i think. You could try looking online for a rebuild kit.

My S-o driver will fix it for free, just charge me for parts but most time he doesn't charge me. For stuff I bought used like my MG725 I bought for $50 off Ebay which needed a new motor, he ordered it for me, repaired it himself and I only pair for parts.

Looks like used ratchets go for $50 on ebay pretty regularly. I'd go that route and either use the one bought or use the components in the head to rebuild the one you have.

That's supposed to be one of the best air ratchets ever made. It has earned legendary status. They were real popular during the 1990s. What kind of air ratchet could you get for a $100 today?
