Snapon KC548B drawer slides discontinued

hello all
I have a Snapon KC548B, and it needs some drawer slides. The Snapon customer service people are very good, helped me with the top box slides, but said that the slides for this old lower box are discontinued. I am asking you people; what to do in this case?
photo of the needed slide is attached, Bottom box slide is part number 8-5067, gd part #, dimensions are 18 1/8” x 1 ¾” x 3/8”


So I drilled and tapped a hole, to temporarily fix the problem. Do you know of a part # that will fit and work in this ?
Thanks in advance, I am glad I met you tool people. Fixing up the toolboxes is a fun hobby since I retired. That and restoring an old corvette and working part time at my sister's non-profit.

Have you checked eBay? I suspect they will not be listed by the part number if available so some sleuthing may be required.

I'd consider finding other companies that use a similar drawer size, and trying to source slides from them.

Maybe asking SO who their drawer slide supplier is. Unless they fabricate them in-house.

Thanks, that helps. the guy in the video is working with a much more beat up box. I have only one slide that is bothering me. and thanks tool_scrounge, I will check on ebay. I have the dimensions, so I was wondering if I can get one that's a small amount too long and shorten it, but that's just dreamin.
