I have done a little research on this site, and found that the MAJOR difference between a Snap On KR560 and a KR660 is friction slides on the 560 and Bearing slides on the 660. If that is incorrect, someone please let me know.

My next question is Can I replace the friction slides with bearing slides? I would think that I could.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks,
Munsk.

No, the inside walls of both boxes are configured differently. The box with friction slides will have channels spot welded to the inner wall to accept the friction slide members. The box with ball bearing slides with have square slots cut into the inner wall to accept the bayonet type ball bearing slides.
