SnapOn pliers

Anyone use these pliers, I know nothing special, but I just got a pair for 20$ and I really like them.

I’ve got a pair of those I bought probably 20 years ago and used all along the way. Good strong hard teeth and tough handles. They’re part of the “big 4” pairs of pliers that make up the bare necessities. Every toolbox or place you keep tools needs at least a 10” pair of tongue n groove pliers, needle nose pliers, diagonal side cutters and a pair of combination pliers (or linemans pliers).

Other than the handle shape, I don't see anything special. Each to their own when it comes to pliers. There are plenty of pliers options out there with decent teeth. Personally for water pump style pliers, Knipex Cobras are my preference.

Interesting, haven't seen those on the truck before. My Snap-on guys carry the Knipex Cobra line on the trucks. Ever since using the push button on the Cobras, the groove joint pliers have simply lost their thrill to me.
