I need help Identifying a socket it is an old PM-14 it looks like a 1/4" drive however it is slightly larger it is a short well 6 pt. I think it is 7/16.

Also 7/16 makes sense. If I remember right, they listed the sizes by 32nds, so 14/32 would be 7/16.

There is probably a date code stamped on it as well. You could find a date list on collectingsnapon.com or post a pic for the rest of us.
