First SnapOn branded item that has found its way home with me. Curious on the age and how popular they were? Couldn't seem to turn anything up searching, but I'm not exactly sure what I am searching for. Other than faded paint it looks pretty decent. And it was free. I'll certainly never use it as a grill, and it appears to have never been used for that purpose in the past. Just thought it was pretty cool.

I have 2 of these. I found one up in Canada at a yard sale and got the other at a swap meet. I tried to sell one of them a few years ago with no response from CL or Ebay. Their not to popular.

They were giveaways in the early 2000's. Like if you bought a tool you got the grill for free. I sold mine to the local 2nd hand store. They had $30 on it for awhile, now $15 and still no takers. I'm considering buying it back for less than I sold it for.

I'm not sure if it's even safe to cook food on these. How long would you have to have a fire in it to cook off the paint chemicals ?

I remember unpacking mine when I got it and and it having instructions about how to use it to cook.
