Idk who makes it but my blue point long barrel hangs with anyone else's stuff in my shop even the snappys. In fact some times they borrow mine

How long ago did you get it? I heard, but cannot confirm, that the BP long barrel was just a rebadged 2050 when the 3050 was introduced.

Oh didn't know that I got it about 4 years ago. It's done me very well I know its not the best or most powerful out there tho. Does anyone know if the snap on is the same as the ir 118 or 122 max they look a lot a like.

The PH3050? The PH3050 isn't an IR.

My SO PH3050, will succeed when other air hammers won't. What are you not getting? In 7 years of professional wrenching, in New England, do you think I haven't dealt with beat to hell and rusted suspensions?

You buy what you want. For everyone else actually interested in what is the best, despite brand loyalties and desperation to validate a purchase decision, the PH3050 is king.

Oh, and for the record, most of my air tools are NOT Snap On.

I never said you haven't dealt with "beat to hell and rusted suspension"
I've been turning wrenches just as long, my IR has never let me down.

btw I'm talking about the IR 118max. Which I'm sure your probably haven't used. Have I used PH3050? Yes, I have. IR118 Feels just as strong as it. PH3050 is own by my neighbor which is a mechanic as well. Spec wise IR is better but specs aren't everything.

That's cool I didn't think so I know snap on doesn't use ir stuff. They just look a ton a like that's all.

get the 118 Max over the 122 if going with one or the other.
