i have a few flip flop sockets for lug nuts but i never seen one with a 12 point on one end

Well that's what I was thinking, but can not find any info on it, it does have the real early logo late twenty's I think, I'll try and get a better photo in the morning.

Its a socket for a snap on valve adjuster, probably from the 30s. There were three with the set.

valve adjuster for what ? what was the drive ?

my flip flop sockets have a 1/2 inch drive in between the two sizes so you stick the socket on an extension in either direction depending on what side of the socket you want to use , i dont understand how this one works ..
