I have a long black handled SO phillips that I've had for years. It has now gotten to the point where it no longer has the right point shape to work on tight screws. Just wear, no broken bits.

I'm no longer visited by a SO rep. would this be covered by warranty if I called or mailed to SO?

You can call and ask but quite frankly i'd find a local shop and find out when the SO guy comes. In, out, and on your way

They will swap it out for you and most likely tell you to keep your old driver. Keep in mind though, you will get a new instinct driver and not the hard handled driver
