Sorry for reposting something that has been discussed, I'm not good at searching.

There's a KRL722BPC for sale supposedly in decent shape, no major scratches just surface and no dents. He's got to move it ASAP. asking 1500. That seems like a good price on a 6000 box to me.

What's everyone opinion?

I just don't like the color but suppose I could get used to it based on the price.

The price is right, I love my 722 but my workroom is tiny. If it were larger I would want deeper drawers.

If the condition described is accurate, I'd probably jump on it...

It doesn't have the aluminum door guards, is that an option with the 722? because I see them on all the new stuff in their catalogue?

I'm thinking with some elbow grease to buff the paint scratches if not too deep and adding the door trim it will be practically brand new and if I need to ever unload it I wont loose.

Funny, I've got a black KRL722, bought it for the same reason as you, and I'm not hot on the color either :lol_hitti but like you said, price was right and its a great box.
One good thing...since you getting it at a good price, you can afford to outfit it with some detail doo-dads...put a chrome drawer front on it, or one of the other colors they offer, etc.. make it yours so to speak.

I've got the krl722 in black with blue trims. I was really happy with it because it is not as deep so gives me plenty of working area in my workshop bay. Plus the riser which fits it is much taller than the risers for the other master series boxes, so your not crouching in......

Thats the good......

Unfortunately i'm a bit bummed now though cause i'm after a side locker but the side lockers for my setup are only designed for a roll cab with drawer top box, with my riser the locker will fall short..... this may be me being picky but with the amount i've spent with the snap-on man, the least snap-on could do is design lockers to suit all there box setups.

Buy it.

It wouldn't hurt to phone Snap On to make sure there's not a lien on that serial number.

They make a "locker topper" now. So that your work center will match the top of your locker. It's basically a 4 inch tall perimeter that sits on top of the locker, and has a cutout for the kaps4 power strip so you can put chargers or electronics on top of your locker.
