He comes up on searches for Craftsman and Snap On. I especially like the "ATTENTION ALL CRAFTSMAN AND ALL MECHANICS", shouldn't it be craftsmen.

I've noticed alot of sellers try to work "snap on" into thier tool auctions. Just wastes your time reading thru your search results. It must work to get more people to an auction, because soo many are doing it.

I wonder how many guys see a good deal at the last second and buy it thinking snap on. but when it shows up they get a knock off generic brand piece of junk.
One customer thought he was getting a big snap on box, all he got was the model version that was about 6 inches long and 3 inches deep and about 4 inches tall. he paid 250 bucks. buy was he pissed

It's called Keyword Spamming and it happens often. It is supposed to be against eBay policy, but eBay is a *****. Don't hold your breath waiting for them to take action...

Ebay is screwed up in several way, for and against the buyer. Can't say I think some of their 'solutions' are so terribly really.. but they need competition to lower their exorbitant auction and Paypal fees. It ***** though because like I and many/most others, when you think online auction, you automatically think ebay.

but eBay is a *****.
Calling eBay a "*****" insults honest working girls. FWIW, after the first fifty times I reported keyword spamming with no response or results, I realized eBay not only condones, but rewards these sleazeballs with "power seller" discounts.

The few times I called the seller on some particularly egregious example of misrepresentation, if they replied at all, it was "Get over it. I did it on purpose and will do it again to get every possible eyeball on my auctions."

thnx, jack vines

"been there, done that" on reporting listings for keyword spamming. EBay does nothing. It is old to have to filter out such junk.
