snow may FINALLY be arriving!

Well we might have a white Christmas after all. Tom Skilling is predicting some snow thurs night, and then two more storms over the next couple weeks.

The only part is, i need to get the garage stuff moved around. Can't even get to the snowblower right now. Don't think we'll need it for this first snow, but I have to get it out and ready for the season.

We need snow, the kids want to go sledding over Christmas break!

I've learned that there are no guarantees in life. I have also learned that Tom Skilling is the only meterologist that can be trusted. If he says it, I believe it. The man has devoted almost every minute of his adult life to educating others about, and creating advancements in, the science of meteorology. I guess that's why he's paid the highest salary of any "weatherman" in the U.S. Now if his brother Jeffrey would only pay me back the one million dollars he stole from me, life would be great........it is truly hard to believe that Jeffrey and Tom are brothers.

It sounds like the farther north you are, the more snow you will get. I'm out west of St charles, and it looks like a **** shoot! However, for those in Crystal Lake and north, they will be getting 5" and UP!

Some wet slop but that is about it.....it is JUST a little too warm, 5 degrees cooler and I would be loving having my new to me blower and tractor. I have had to plow, but not too much

Westmont; I bought my twin post hoist there via Craigslist a ways off Cass, on 63rd...

and no, we don't "need" snow. though my Jeeps are ready as is my John Deere 2 stage snowblower, , I AIN'T!
too bad we cant put up a wall between you in Westmont and me in kankakee, to deflect all the snow meant for us, back your way....

yeah Skilling is good but I like Mark Strehl on FOX, too, he's the best bet when it comes to weathermen on TV in the mornings

There's been snow on the ground here since mid November. Kinda wish it would have waited but everything is so nice and white right now, I'll live with it. I could do without the -11.2*F I woke up to this morning though. . .and it's only going to get worse.

Well, I'm in Hyde Park VT right now and it's snowing, but it doesn't look like it will amount to much.
